LIBIDO – QUEER IT UP!

4 - 7 December 2025 Berlin

“There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time.
this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost. The world will not have it.

It is not your business to determine how good it is, not how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours, clearly and directly, to keep the channel open.
You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep open and aware directly to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. No artist is pleased. There is no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer, divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others.”
Martha Graham

Pathways & Possibilities of Embodied Sexuality

Life has a unique manifestation through each one of us.
This transformative movement journey is an opportunity to reclaim the unique expression of your libido.

LIBIDO – the dance of Life
Every living being has a libido from its birth until its death.
It is more than sexual energy: it is life force, creativity, vitality, presence and connection — it is an essential part of the body's natural expression. Sometimes complicated, sometimes ecstatic, or burdened with expectations and past experiences. All this energy moves within and between us and longs for freedom.

QUEER – societal, political, critical
Being queer means to be a minority in society only. Beyond that, nature is full of queerness. Our existence proves that there is a spark in the universe that contains the potential for queerness. The body is an undeniable part of nature, all of our experiences are rooted in it – so that’s what we will work with!

MOVEMENT – embodied resources & mindfulness
We will use the framework of the Open Floor movement practice during this workshop. Through dance and movement you get more access to the physical sensations of what it means to be alive for you. Solo, partner, group exercises and verbal inquiry give you an experience of a deeper connection to yourself and others, leading to greater freedom in exploring your sexy self, playfully in new and different ways.

Whether you are hungry for change, looking for a fun and juicy weekend of dance, or are curious without any clear reason – you are welcome to join.
